Why she meets the parent alone

Hilde’s first clients were her grandmother’s friends from church in Moline. She learned early that a parent will say different things with a son in the room than without him, so every first meeting she holds has a few minutes with the parent alone.

Most of her work now is Medicaid planning and guardianship: the conversations that come when a parent can’t live alone any longer. She keeps the Saturday morning hours at the Moline office herself.

Talk with Hilde

Hilde works from the Moline office and meets clients at both. The first hour is free.
